2. Rent & Return

Quick. Simple. Flexible. 

 

Note: We are currently replacing the bike fleet in the metropolradruhr area. For now two different kinds of bikes can be found - one with the old combination lock and one with the new FrameLock. The system stays station based. Don't return bikes flexibly!

RENT A BIKE

Rent a bike via app: simply scan the QR-code or enter the bike number. The frame lock will open automatically. Therefore never rent a bike from afar!

PARK A BIKE

You can park your bike inbetween your journey without stopping the rental. Activate the park mode in your app and close the lock afterwards. In your app you can also stop it again once you want to continue your journey. The frame lock opens automatically. Therefore never stop the park mode from afar!

RETURN A BIKE

Return the bike at an official station and push it into the stands provided for it, the return is automatically recorded by our terminal. Please check in the app if the return was successful.
If no free stand is available, place the bike next to the station. Press down the small lever on the frame lock. Update your app to make sure that the return was successful. In the map you can see where you can return bikes.

RENT A BIKE

Rent your bike by app by scanning the QR-code or entering the bike number. Press rent. You will receive a 4-digit lock code to open the combination lock. Alternatively you can rent a bike via terminal or by calling our hotline under +49 (0) 30 69205046.

PARK A BIKE

You can lock your e-bike inbetween your journey without stopping the rental. Simply close the combination lock and open it again with the lock code received. You can find the lock code in your active rentals in the app or in your text messages.

RETURN A BIKE

Return the bike at an official station and push it into the stands provided for it, the return is automatically recorded by our terminal. Update your app to make sure that the rental has finished.
If there is no free stand available, place the bike next to the station, close the combination lock and select the location using the app. Confirm the return. Alternatively, you can return the bike at the terminal or via holine at +49 (0) 30 69205046.

REGISTRATION

The registration is free of charge*. Before renting your first bike, we need to verify your payment method. You will be required to deposit a credit of 1 € which can be used in all fare types. You can change your preferred payment method at any time.

Payment with credit card, direct debit or PayPal**.

* For registering via hotline a service charge of 3€ applies.
** Your PayPal account needs to be verified. Learn more.

1 ACCOUNT = 4 BIKES

You can rent up to four bikes at the same time using one account. Special rates and offers only apply to the first bike, additional bikes are charged at the standard rate. 

SERVICE FEES

Returning bikes outside of official stations is not allowed. A service fee of min. 20€ will apply. All prices and fees can be found in our price list
